Tour Guide

Salary : Based on competency and experience

Hours : 9 hours (8 working hours + 1 hour break)

We are looking for a Tour Guide to join our Operations team based in Dubai. This role will be responsible for providing informative, entertaining, and up-to-date commentary. To maintain and enhance the reputation and viability of the company through the provision of the best possible service for the Big Bus Tours Middle East.

Requirements

Must have a sound knowledge of the history, traditions, cultural developments, and current events in the Middle East.

Character may be important to us, but there are a couple of minimum requirements for this role:

• 1-2 years’ experience in tour guiding, customer service, and/or similar.
• You must be fit & healthy, goal-oriented, and well-presented, as you will be required to work outdoors.
• You must have an excellent command of the English language.
• A valid Tour Guide license is a great advantage.
• Sound knowledge of the history, traditions, cultural developments, and current events in the Middle East.
• Research various topics, including site history, environmental conditions, and clients' skills and abilities to plan appropriate expeditions, instructions, and commentary.
• High School/College Graduate and/or equivalent.
