Job Description

• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled and calculate the quantity of materials needed.
• Prepare and clean surfaces prior to tile installation, ensuring they are level and free of debris.
• Cut tiles to size using hand or power tools, ensuring precise measurements and clean edges.
• Apply adhesive or mortar to surfaces and lay tiles in a pattern, taking care to align them properly.
• Use tools such as hammers, levels, and trowels to ensure tiles are properly set and aligned.
• Grout and seal tiles to create a finished and waterproof surface.
• Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve skills and techniques.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a tile mason or in a similar role.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the construction industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow them.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
