Job Description

The Tile Installation Team Leader – Senior Tile Mason oversees the high-quality installation of porcelain countertops and tiles in kitchen/outdoor BBQ areas. This leadership role requires expertise in porcelain material handling, precision, and craftsmanship to meet client specifications, as well as guiding and supporting a team to achieve excellent results.

Responsibilities

1. Verify site measurements to ensure they align with approved drawings before beginning the installation.
2. Cut, shape, and install porcelain countertops with precision, adapting to any specific site conditions.
3. Handle porcelain slabs carefully to avoid damage during transport, preparation, and installation.
4. Conduct pre-installation site checks to identify and resolve any potential issues for seamless fitting.
5. Perform finishing touches, including alignment and any necessary adjustments, to achieve a polished, professional result.
6. Guide and mentor team members on installation techniques and safety practices.
7. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all health and safety protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Strong expertise in porcelain materials and advanced installation techniques.
2. Proficiency in reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings and layout plans.
3. Skilled in using tools specific to cutting, shaping, and installing porcelain countertops.
4. Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities for on-site adjustments.
