Tie-ins Delivery Manager (UAE)

We are currently looking for a Tie-ins Delivery Manager to be based in UAE on behalf of our client, an EPC Contractor.

Role Overview:

The Tie-ins Delivery Manager will oversee the seamless integration of new infrastructure, systems, or pipelines into existing oil & gas operations. This role is critical for ensuring that all tie-ins are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project schedules and industry standards. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver tie-ins with minimal disruption to production.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

1. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of tie-in projects.
2. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
3. Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure project alignment.

Technical Oversight

1. Review and approve tie-in designs to meet safety, quality, and operational standards.
2. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
3. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure resolutions are implemented promptly.

Stakeholder Communication

1. Serve as the primary point of contact for tie-in activities with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
3. Facilitate communication between contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
4. Identify potential risks associated with tie-in activities and develop mitigation strategies.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
6. Lead safety reviews and ensure that all tie-ins adhere to HSE standards.

Budget and Resource Management

1. Develop project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure financial efficiency.
2. Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
3. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.

Experience:

1. 15+ years in the oil & gas industry with a focus on project management or tie-in operations.
2. Proven experience managing complex integration projects.

Technical Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of piping systems, mechanical installations, and tie-in procedures.
2. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., API, ASME) and HSE regulations.

Soft Skills:

1. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
2. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
