Job Description

We are seeking a Test Engineer with experience in Cards Projects to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing payment card systems, transaction processing, and related applications, ensuring high-quality and secure implementations. This is an onsite, long-term opportunity with a global leader in technology consulting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans for card payment systems.
2. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on card transactions and processing systems.
3. Validate EMV, contactless, and chip-based card transactions.
4. Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 8583, etc.).
5. Report, track, and resolve defects and issues in test environments.
6. Conduct automation testing where applicable to improve efficiency.
7. Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide technical support during implementation.
8. Ensure seamless integration between card management systems, payment gateways, and banking applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. 2+ years of experience in testing payment card applications and transaction systems.
2. Strong understanding of card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), EMV, and ISO 8583 messaging.
3. Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing of card systems.
4. Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, or similar).
5. Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
6. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with payment switch testing and digital wallet applications.
2. Knowledge of API testing and automation frameworks (Selenium, Postman, etc.).
3. Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or relevant domain certifications.
