Test Analyst

Responsibilities

1. Assist team members in designing system integration testing activities for project deliverables based on defined and agreed criteria that are appropriate to deliverable and its intended use.
2. Ensure that all deliverables meet the functionality (module wise) with respect to requirements.
3. Assist Associate Team Lead in preparation of test plan with respect to the module.
4. Knowledge transfer to new resources based on SIT documents.
5. Estimate test cases and automated scripts based on use cases for each module.
6. Analyze change requests and perform impact analysis.
7. Estimate test execution timelines with respect to module wise.
8. Coordinate with Test Lead for the creation of test plan to meet the agreed timeline and criteria.
9. Allocate tasks to team members with respect to the criticality of functionalities.
10. Guide the senior software engineer and test engineer in creating automated test scripts, test-related outputs, test cases, test data, etc.
11. Review test cases and automated test scripts prepared by senior software engineers and test engineers to ensure deliverables match functionalities.
12. Establish traceability matrix to ensure all functionalities are covered by test cases and automation test scripts.
13. Review defects identified by team members and assign to the respective developer.
14. Execute critical functionality test cases to ensure requirements are met.
15. Provide technical support for the testing team and be involved in creating any testing-related output, i.e., test data, test cases, test scripts.
16. Prepare daily and weekly status reports and send to Test Lead for approval.
