The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting and selling our comprehensive suite of solutions including data warehousing, analytics, generative AI, digital channels, business process management, and more.
This role holds a foundational significance within our organization, serving as a cornerstone in our strategic framework. Reporting directly to the Regional Market Director, you will be entrusted with substantial responsibilities that directly impact our organizational trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
Analyse competitor activities and market dynamics to develop effective sales strategies. - Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to align strategies with organizational goals. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Understand clients' business needs and challenges to propose tailored data solutions and digital enablement strategies. - Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on the latest advancements in data and digital solutions.
Effectively communicate our evolving value proposition to key accounts. - Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of the company’s offerings.
Address client concerns and objections providing clear and concise solutions. - Sales Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Close sales deals and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. - Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
Work closely with marketing, technology partners, and customer support teams to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction. - Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of proven experience in B2B sales with a focus on data solutions and digital enablement.
- Well-established network across the public sector.
- Strong understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and digital transformation trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
