Territory Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities:

1. Processes all reservation requests by telephone, email, OTAs, and RESERVE system promptly and accurately to the established standards.
2. Fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities, and services.
3. Ensures proactive sales conversion on target-based selling strategies and objectives. Cross-sells all elements of the hotel (Rooms, F&B Restaurants, and Spa).
4. Ensures the highest reservation conversion rate with minimum calls lost.
5. Adopts a sales attitude at all times and maintains an awareness of sales opportunities within the hotel.
6. Follows up on all tentative bookings from the Sales department to ensure minimum wash to our holding business and that all bookings are legitimate with guaranteed liabilities.
7. Responsible for groups attrition, ensuring daily checks on group wash or updates and maintaining DRS.
8. Ensures a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and local area.
9. Adheres to pre-set availability, rate controls, and promotional activities.
10. Updates no-shows and cancellations on all OTAs without fail to avoid unwanted commissions.
11. Responsible for maintaining rate parity across all booking channels (Website, OTA, GDS, Travel Agents, etc.).
12. Develops and maintains a high level of communication with all major sources of business and advises the Director of Revenue Strategy on feedback where necessary.
13. Checks daily arrivals and informs concerned personnel of any missing information.
14. Prepares weekly and monthly reports on conversion, total revenue captured, and up-selling target achievements.
15. Assists in preparing the group pre-arrival process and group rooming lists when directed.
16. Manages inbound and outbound calls effectively.
