Job Description
Oversee and manage the entire tender process for signage projects, from the receipt of tender documents to final submission.
Analyze tender requirements, specifications, and client needs to ensure compliance and identify key project deliverables.
Ensure all tender documentation is completed accurately, clearly, and in line with client expectations.
Work closely with Estimation Team, Design, production, installation, and project management teams to gather technical information and cost estimates.
Draft technical and financial proposals, including detailed specifications, pricing, timelines, and risk assessments.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the tendering process, providing clarification on any queries or concerns they may have.
Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits to gather critical information and ensure the company fully understands client needs.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their signage requirements and business objectives.
Assist with price negotiations and contract finalization, ensuring that the proposal remains competitive while protecting company margins.
Manage the tender process through to the final decision, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client requests.
Identify potential risks during the tendering process and work with the project and estimate teams to develop mitigation strategies.
Review and analyze feedback from clients and internal teams after tender submission to identify areas for improvement in future bids.
Assist in the smooth handover of awarded projects to the project management team for execution.
Track success rates of tenders and maintain a database of tender results for future reference and learning.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architectural or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tender management, project coordination, or estimating, ideally within the signage, construction, fit-out, or metal works.
Technical Expertise: Familiarity with CAD software, PRIMAVERA, technical drawings, and understanding of sign design and manufacturing processes.
Negotiation & Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical proposals to clients. Strong ability to negotiate prices and contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Primarily office-based, but the role may involve site visits and client meetings.
Flexible working hours may be required to meet deadlines, particularly during peak tender periods.
Open to travel outside the UAE for business purposes.
