To assist in the performance of noncomplex, general drafting work for various departmental (i.e. assessment, engineering, etc.) assignments.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assists in preparing accurate and well-presented drawings in order to meet the standards and targets as specified in the Project Plan.
2. Ensures timely production of self-performance structural shop DWGs as directed by the Structural engineer to meet the project time schedule (logistic DWGs, excavation, concrete GA & Outlines, Rebar, etc.).
3. Produces/reviews the Bar bending schedules against the approved rebar shop DWGs to ensure accuracy.
4. Ensures that DWGs are accurate and well presented as per the company procedures and standards.
5. Assists in preparing drawings in a timely and efficient manner to meet project deadlines and schedules.
6. Produces the targeted number of approved shop DWGs monthly as per the master list of shop DWGs populated with planned submission dates.
7. Ensures the quality of CAD files production as per the project procedure and the company standard, ensuring organization (layers, pin assignment, coordinates, etc.).
8. Reviews the targeted number of Sub contractor shop DWGs to ensure accuracy, quality, and coordination; the targeted number is to be assigned by the Technical manager based on the populated list of Shop DWGs.
9. Superimposes Arch, Structural & MEP DWGs, defines clashes, and reports to the Structural engineer.
10. Raises RFIs for various discrepancies, missing information, or conflicts in design DWGs.
11. Manages safekeeping of project design drawings to ensure backup/follow-up to submittal as approved process and that engineering documents are filed correctly, formatted, and traceable (hardcopy and softcopy) to ensure that only the latest revisions of the documents are being worked on.
12. Prepares soft copy of Design DWGs compiled folder of latest revisions on the server.
13. Prints & organizes up-to-date hard copies of design DWGs stamped (IFC, IFT, etc.) for the use of the technical department.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Extensive experience in CAD software, 2D. Knowledge about the specification of wood works. Knowledge in technical design for both Interior and Exterior works. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

3 years total, 1 year GCC experience.

Education

Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design; Certificate in AutoCAD or any related field.
