Telehandler Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler Operator to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Telehandler Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction and material handling operations, ensuring efficient and safe movement of materials on various job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Operate telehandlers and other heavy machinery to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Interpret load charts and assess load weights to ensure proper handling.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in other construction-related tasks as needed.
• Adapt to various weather conditions and work environments typical in Dubai.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid telehandler operator certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a telehandler operator, preferably in construction or industrial settings.
• Proficiency in operating telehandlers and other heavy machinery.
• Thorough knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts accurately.
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Physical ability to work in various weather conditions and perform tasks requiring strength and dexterity.
• Detail-oriented approach to work with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and local UAE safety regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including potential overtime and weekends as required.
