Telecommunications Engineer

Tecnicas Reunidas, S.A. is a leading international general contractor engaged in the engineering and construction of industrial facilities in the fields of:

Job Responsibilities:

• Calculate, specify, design, select the different teams under responsibility.
• Prepare MTOs, requisitions for inquiry and for purchase of the supplies entrusted to him/her.
• Carry out technical tabulations of the supplies entrusted to him/her.
• Approve and monitor the information provided by the Vendor, whether it pertains to their discipline or comes from other departments.
• Ensure that the objectives for the assigned orders are met in terms of technical standards, quality requirements, procedural compliance, and adherence to established planning and deadlines.
• Coordinate information and requirements with other disciplines, including Piping, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Vessels, Construction, Processes, and Procurement.
• Follow up on requests and designs under his/her responsibility to ensure that the agreed-upon deadlines for the delivery of information and equipment are met.
• LLAA identification / proposals.
• Maintain the file of electronic documents in Documentum updated according to the procedure established in the Project.
• Management of VDDRs and handling of requisitions in SPMat.
• Carry out Site Surveys to identify and allocate the required information to continue the design.
• Provide support to the construction team to resolve any issues that arise on-site during the execution of the works.
• Conduct discussions with buildings subcontractors to define the engineering scope and supervise the works.

These duties represent the general and substantive components of the functions. There may also be additional duties related to the role, that are expected to be performed by Employee occupying this position.

Requirements:

• A degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of telecom systems and technologies.
• At least 8 years of experience as Telecommunications Engineer in Oil & Gas Field;
