Telecom Engineer, Senior, Lead

Education
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecommunications engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Previous experience in Onshore Gas Processing Plants or similar facilities is essential.
- Proven experience in FEED & Detailed Engineering phases, with a focus on telecom systems.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in telecom systems such as PABX, DCS, SCADA, radio communication, data networks, and fiber optics.
- Knowledge of telecom equipment installation and commissioning.
- Familiar with telecom codes and standards such as IEC, ANSI, IEEE, and ATEX (for hazardous areas).
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD or similar design software for telecom layouts and schematics.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience with integrated telecom systems for SCADA or control systems in oil and gas plants.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Previous experience in commissioning and start-up of telecom systems in an industrial environment.
Work Conditions
- Ability to work on-site in a challenging environment with shifting priorities.
- Frequent travel to site locations may be required during the engineering and commissioning phases.
- Adherence to strict health, safety, and environmental protocols is essential.
