Telecom Engineer

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical education on bachelor level or higher within Telecommunication Engineering.
• Relevant experience as a Telecom lead or, at a minimum, as a Telecom System Engineer for offshore projects, preferably FPSO.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience within telecommunications systems and Networks engineering discipline.
• Recent experience of working on modification projects and/or FPSO redeployment is strongly desired.
• Recent experience of working in a similar role on UK North Sea projects will be an advantage.
• Recent experience in areas of UK compliance and working knowledge of ABB control system will be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills applied to a multidisciplined project team.
• Recent relevant experience in Middle East/Southeast Asian shipyards is an advantage.
• Diplomacy and assertiveness.
• Organized, systematic, and flexible.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.
