Main Purpose Of Role

Core Engineering Role to produce the volume of engineering activities on projects and within the business as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with relevant discipline from recognized university.
• Master’s degree in relevant discipline will be an added advantage.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):Essential

• 6 -10 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.

Technical Knowledge And Skills (Discipline Specific)

• Knowledge of basic engineering processes
• Familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices
• Must be familiar with all aspects of design from concept to detailed design
• Technical analysis of engineering problems
• Preparation of non-critical engineering design documents
• Knowledge of detail engineering of Telecommunication systems involving SDH/SONET, DWDM network design/configuration using backbone fibre optic cable for Data, Voice & Video, Radio-Microwave-VHF/UHF & VSAT communication, Hardware & Software configuration of the networking interfaces for SCADA/DCS/RTU
• Knowledge of Telephone & PA/GA systems, CCTV, Security Access Control systems and structured cabling for industrial premises.
• Knowledge of communication channel allocation plan, network management system
• Software packages and configuration, Terminal Multiplexers, Add-Drop Multiplexers, and Main Distribution Frames.
• Familiarity with Industrial SCADA/DCS/PLC & RTU Systems
• Preparation and review of specifications, data sheets, sizing calculations
• Review of vendor documents, drawings and preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation reports.
• Knowledge of field testing procedures and field test equipment.

Software Knowledge (Discipline Specific)

• MS Office
• SPI
• AutoCAD, In Tools
