Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team is in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers. At the end of the day, we are here to grow Apple’s business through partnering with our business channel resellers, partners, and carriers. We develop programs and strategies that enable businesses to transform the way people work. To realize this goal, we build relationships, develop partner capabilities and programs—at all levels from tactical to strategic. We collaborate closely with internal and external partners to craft plans that scale the business and adoption of the Apple ecosystem.

Reporting to the Africa, Islands, and Middle East Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with a large portfolio of telecom operators across the region. Your focus will be on creating win-win strategies to drive sales and adoption of Apple products and services. This role involves direct engagement with telecom operators as well as indirect collaboration through the account management teams of Apple’s value-added distributors in the region.

Description

1. Maintain an excellent relationship with telecom operators and develop a focused and productive alliance with Apple.
2. Develop and execute both strategic and tactical plans that will result in the successful achievement of Apple’s sell-through targets.
3. Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and become an expert in understanding and driving sales through the channels.
4. Enable Apple’s value-added distributors teams responsible for managing telecommunications operators, overseeing both strategic planning and execution.
5. Collaborate with regional sales leaders to support their overall country strategies and sales objectives.
6. Stay informed about competitors' activities, account histories, emerging trends, and identify opportunities for growth.
7. Collaborate with key decision-makers at senior and executive board levels to build and sustain effective partnerships.
8. Increase penetration into new and existing telecom points of sale and expand Apple's focus across carrier sales teams.
9. Ensure conformity with Apple/Carrier agreements.
10. Work to ensure competitive positioning in all consumer offers.
11. Coordinate above-the-line marketing activities, ensuring adherence to and appropriate use of Apple creative assets provided by Apple Marketing teams.
12. Collaborate with Apple support functions to resolve day-to-day trading issues within accounts.
13. Perform assigned administrative tasks, including sales reporting, inventory reporting, and maintaining files, information, and forms. Develop status reports, establish schedules, and attend meetings with internal staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• You have a strong sales & business management background with significant Telecom experience, including demonstrable sales management experience.
• You should have shown & demonstrable engagement with Executive & Board Level partners.
• You have a track record of functioning within a large matrixed organisation is advantageous.
• You have Significant channel sales experience in the Mobile Telecom sector.
• You have Validated Senior/Executive Carrier Account Management experience.
• You have Successful track record in a fast moving, high growth environment.
• You have a Strong background in the telecoms market.
• You have Previous experience of working within a matrix organisation.
• You should speak fluent native level English.
