Telecom and Security Systems Engineer - Oil&Gas

Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Security Systems Engineer to work from our office in Milan or Abu Dhabi. The resource will work on multiple, and complex multi-millionaire Telecom and Security Integration Projects, mainly in the Oil & Gas and Critical Infrastructures market.

What She/He will do:

1. Analyze the technical requirements included in the Contractual Documentation
2. Verify the alignment between Contract's requirements and Eurocontrolli's technical offer developed during the bid phase
3. Define the architecture of the systems and prepare the high-level technical documentation to be submitted to the Client for approval (Functional Design Specifications, Block Diagrams, Data Sheets, etc)
4. Prepare the preliminary Bill of Materials for purchasing, ensuring costs are within the budget
5. Prepare the detailed design documentation (General Arrangements, Cabinets/Panels Layouts, Interconnection and Termination Drawings, Cable Lists, etc)
6. Prepare the final documentation (FAT and SAT Procedures, IOM Manuals, etc)
7. Supervise the assembly of Cabinets and the Integration of the systems during the manufacturing phase
8. Configure and prepare the systems for the Testing with Client
9. Attend, when necessary, FAT at manufacturers' premises
10. Ensure the completion of the Integrated FAT with a zero punch-list
11. Carry out site activities (Commissioning, SAT and Training) whenever required

What we expect:

1. Degree in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering (or similar)
2. 5+ years of overall experience in Security systems Integration Companies, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role (Lead Engineer / Project Engineer Manager)
3. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Fluency in Italian will be considered a big plus.
4. Deep knowledge of the following Security Systems: Access Control, Public Address / General Alarm, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, Personnel Tracking, Man Over Board, etc.
5. Knowledge of IT/Networking systems (LAN, Wireless LAN, SDH/PDH, OTN, IPT etc) and Communication/Ancillaries systems (TETRA/UHF/VHF Radio, Intercom, Video Conference, Entertainment, Meteorological etc) will be considered a plus
6. Ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Ability to interface with and manage manufacturers
8. Ability to attend and lead the Technical meetings with Client
9. Excellent Interpersonal skills (Communication, Emotional, Team-Working and Problem Solving skills).
10. Availability to travel internationally with short-notice to attend technical meetings
11. Availability to travel to sites for short-to-medium periods to perform Commissioning, SAT, and Training Activities
12. Enhanced understanding of Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
