Technician Workshop

Roles & Responsibilities

Overview: Assist the Workshops Supervisor to accomplish maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft support equipment. Also will be responsible for:

1. Disassembles, repairs, resembles, adjusts, removes, replaces, services, prepares, preserves, welds, paints, cleans and troubleshoots pneumatic, hydraulics, electrical, gasoline/diesel engine systems, subsystems and components according to applicable manuals and safety directives.
2. Uses and performs user maintenance with common and special tools.
3. Requisitions AGSE parts, and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of ground support equipment.
4. Inspects and prepares forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.
