Technician - Polishing

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out Paint Polishing works as per manufacturer’s standard in line with work instructions manual.
• F1 – Fix it Right First Time
• Completion of job within allotted time.
• Provide feedback on additional repairs to Team Leader, Foreman, and Controller.
• Inform in advance about any delays in work to Team Leader / Foreman.
• Must carry out overtime whenever the workshop load increases as per Team Leader / Foreman / Controller’s request.
• Record BS materials on Job Card.
• Handle customer vehicles in a safe manner.
• Record the paint material drawn on the job card.
• Inform / obtain approval from Team Leader / Foreman for additional repairs.
• Ensure the use of protective covers for customer vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Use protective masks during paint repairs.
• Ensure that materials drawn on job cards are used for the respective vehicle.

Qualifications

• Trade Skill Certification / Matriculation or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a dealership with at least 2 years as a Paint Polisher.
• Physical fitness to carry out the repairs.
