Technician - Mechatronics

Responsibilities

1. Maintenance and troubleshooting of various workshop equipment such as servo-drive systems, automated welding, cutting equipment, etc.
2. Repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power units’ electro-mechanical systems.
3. Maintain housekeeping of the workplace at required standards.
4. Ensure appropriate use of tools and machinery, preventing excessive wear and tear and breakdowns.
5. Report any malfunction of tools and machinery to the immediate supervisor.
6. Take initiative to pursue self-development through on-job training/education.
7. Follow day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
8. Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets.
9. Attend any training for activities required by the department.
10. Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.

Qualification & Experience / Skills

1. ITI electronics with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
2. Experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
3. Electro-Mechanical experience with software (PLC).
4. Knowledge and experience in ship repair and new building yard.
