Job Description

• Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical systems, identifying wear and malfunction to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform hands-on repairs and replacements of mechanical components, utilizing specialized tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with engineers to design, test, and implement mechanical modifications to improve system efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Calibrate and test mechanical equipment to guarantee precision and reliability in operations.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, employing analytical skills to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
• Assist in the development of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge on best practices and advanced mechanical techniques.
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments, advocating for a culture of safety in the workplace.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, incorporating new technologies into existing mechanical systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum of an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent technical education.
• Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) is preferred to demonstrate specialized knowledge.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance or repair within an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, including CAD applications, enhancing design and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics to facilitate effective repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, enabling quick identification of mechanical failures and implementation of solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensuring clear collaboration with team members.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, to meet project deadlines.
• Multilingual candidates are preferred, especially those fluent in English and the local language, for better team integration.
