The main objective of this role is to analyze, inspect and rectify faults on the full range of material handling equipment, from pallet trucks, order pickers, VNA, gas/diesel & electric counterbalance trucks up to container handlers and reach stacker trucks by undertaking necessary troubleshooting and repairs and resolving customer complaints adhering to prescribed product and service standards.

Main Responsibilities

1. Checks & diagnosis the forklift trucks using the diagnostic software in order to determine the cause of malfunctioning in order to carry out necessary and appropriate repairs.
2. Plans and carries out necessary repairs on site and in workshop, using standard and special tools and within the time frame, to ensure total customer satisfaction.
3. Assesses the cause of failure of parts and submits appropriate reports to analyze the fault & claims.
4. Utilize material and manpower in order to maintain high productivity and efficiency standards.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

1. A strong mechanical/electrical background
2. Experience in forklift (preferably Linde brand), automotive or related industry
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills
4. A positive work attitude
