Technical Writer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering a wide range of technical documentation, including user guides, how-to manuals, reference materials, and instructional content. This role demands strong communication skills to simplify complex concepts and a collaborative mindset to work closely with technical teams and stakeholders. The candidate will also contribute to Finerton's mission of streamlining supply chain operations by documenting innovative solutions for clients in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, and related industries.

Responsibilities

1. Translate complex technical ideas into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
2. Collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather information and understand technical specifications.
3. Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, API references, and process workflows.
4. Develop content for front-end Blazor applications and back-end C# functionalities.
5. Present technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Regularly review and update documentation to align with product updates and industry standards.
7. Work with customer representatives and end-users to ensure documentation meets their needs.
8. Utilize tools and technologies to create interactive and visually appealing content.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical writing, communications, or a related field.
2. Experience in the technology industry, preferably in software development or supply chain solutions.
3. Proficiency with front-end frameworks (e.g., Blazor) and knowledge of back-end development in C#.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify highly technical information.
5. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
6. Familiarity with documentation tools, version control systems, and content management platforms.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

1. Background in supply chain processes or logistics industries.
2. Experience in Agile workflows and documentation practices.
3. Knowledge of creating visual aids like diagrams, flowcharts, and presentations.
