Technical Writer

Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented IT Technical Content Writer native in Arabic and fluent English to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology (software and infrastructure) and a passion for creating clear, engaging, and accurate content for diverse audiences, ranging from technical professionals to end-users. This role requires an understanding of IT concepts and the ability to create and Arabize complex technical information into user-friendly content in Arabic and English, for use by government organizations and ministries.

Responsibilities

Content Creation:

• Write, edit, and translate technical documents, including awareness material, user manuals, guides, FAQs, and technical blogs, from English to Arabic and vice versa.
• Develop high-quality content for IT solutions, software, infrastructure technologies, and enterprise tools.

Research & Collaboration:

• Collaborate with technical teams, product managers to gather insights and ensure content accuracy.
• Stay updated on IT trends and technologies to maintain the relevance of the content.

Content Localization/Arabaization:

• Adapt content to suit Arabic-speaking markets, considering cultural and linguistic nuances.
• Ensure the writing tone and style are consistent with the corporate communications branding guidelines in both languages.

Documentation Management:

• Maintain a repository of all technical documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and accessible.
• Implement feedback from internal teams to refine and enhance content.

Qualifications

Language Skills:

• Exceptional capability of content Arabization (read and understand English document, and deliver the same meaning in Arabic)
• Native in Arabic and fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Exceptional grammar, vocabulary, and technical writing skills in both languages.

Technical Expertise:

• Understanding of IT concepts.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical topics and explain them clearly.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a technical writer, IT content writer, or similar role.
• Proven experience on content Arabization.
• Proven experience on writing technical user manuals.

Tools Proficiency:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Other Skills:

• Strong familiarity with UAE Arabic culture (in writing).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines.
• Quickly adapt to new environments: learn, reflect, and deliver.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years as IT technical writer.
• Familiarity with IT documentation and content creation.
