Technical Lead Network and Security (SME Level)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead Network and Security (SME Level) to oversee, design, implement, and manage network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in F5 (LTM, ASM, APM), Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco FTD), Network Routing & Switching, Wireless, NAC, Email Security, and Web Security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead network and security architecture, design, and deployment projects.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot F5 solutions (LTM, ASM, APM) for load balancing, application security, and access management.
• Manage and secure firewalls including Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco FTD.
• Oversee routing and switching environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Implement and manage wireless network solutions and enforce security best practices.
• Administer and enforce policies using Cisco ISE NAC for network access control.
• Manage email security solutions and web security policies to protect against threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and mitigate risks.
• Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents, providing expert-level resolution.
• Document network configurations, security policies, and best practices.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and support teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in network and security roles, with SME-level expertise.
• Strong experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM, ASM, APM configuration and management.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco FTD firewalls.
• In-depth knowledge of network routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, STP, VxLAN).
• Experience in wireless networking and securing enterprise wireless infrastructures.
• Expertise in Cisco ISE NAC for identity-based network access control.
• Strong knowledge of email security solutions (Proofpoint, Cisco ESA, etc.).
• Experience with web security solutions (Proxy, Web filtering, Secure Web Gateway).
• Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN, and Cloud Security Solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• F5 Certified Technology Specialist (LTM, ASM, APM)
• Fortinet NSE4/NSE7
• Palo Alto PCNSE
• Cisco CCNP Security or CCIE Security
