Technical Support Engineer

For our subsidiary BAUER International FZE based in Abu Dhabi, we are looking for a committed and qualified Junior Tender Engineer (m / f / x).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender submittals in coordination with the Tender Manager and other relevant departments.
• Prepare post-tender correspondences in coordination with the Tender Manager and Senior Management.
• Carry out necessary tasks in the Tender Workflow (TWF) system. Initiate the creation of MS Teams for the tenders, ensuring all documents related to the tender are saved in the relevant MS Teams.
• Review the design inputs and carry out and check quantity calculations.
• Conduct pre-tender site visits or meetings and prepare reports on the same.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or similar studies.
• First professional experience in the construction industry including tendering, projecting, and calculation, preferably 1 to 2 years of experience in the UAE.
• Competent in MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience in using Adobe Photoshop, MS Project, or similar programs is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
