Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Roadmap:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the technical roadmap and strategy for the team.
• Ensure that the team's projects align with the long-term technical vision of the organization.
• Leverage AI/ML expertise to guide the team in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve intricate problems.
• Drive the integration of AI/ML components into existing systems and explore opportunities to enhance product offerings using AI/ML techniques.
• Technical documentation of the work and the process.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of projects, code, and research findings.

Technical Leadership:

• Lead a team of skilled developers and researchers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in technology, AI/ML, computer vision, and related fields to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation.

Solution Translation:

• Collaborate closely with the business and product teams to understand and translate complex business requirements into technically feasible solutions.
• Design architecture and technical specifications for projects, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.

Proof of Concept Development:

• Drive the development of proof of concepts (POCs) to validate the feasibility of new ideas and technologies.
• Lead the team in rapidly prototyping and iterating on solutions to demonstrate their potential value.
• Develop POCs in a diverse range of applications including 3D assets, Computer Vision, LLMs, Deep learning, AI, streaming technologies, and cloud deployment.

End-to-End Development:

• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment on cloud platforms.
• Ensure the team follows best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, while maintaining high-quality code and documentation.

Innovation and Feasibility Studies:

• Introduce and champion new ideas, methodologies, and technologies to the team, conducting feasibility studies to assess their applicability to our projects.
• Collaborate with team members to experiment with innovative approaches and validate their effectiveness.

Problem Solving:

• Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks that the team encounters during development.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and technical guidance to team members.

Continuous Learning and Growth:

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team, encouraging the exploration of new technologies and skill development.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Electronics, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields. PhD degree preferred.
• Strong expertise in AI and Machine Learning concepts and technologies.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in software development and technical leadership roles.
