We are an established and fully integrated Pulp and Paper producer in the world. Due to our expansion plan, we are now recruiting a Technical Sales Manager for our paper board Business Unit.
Responsibilities
Provide pre and post sales technical support, and/or introducing new paperboard products to customers.
Continuous follow-up and provide solutions to customers' technical issues.
Develop product training programs for sales and channel partners.
Attend and provide technical updates including product training to distributors and customers.
Conduct quarterly benchmarking studies to assess correct value propositions.
Communicate and promote QPC (Product Selling Points) to industry/customers.
Participate in industry trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.
Assist and support the commercial team to identify a sustainable business strategy and develop plans to ensure sales growth and profitability.
Understand the competitive landscape and define a winning strategy for product business.
Requirements
Bachelor or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 5 years technical sales experience, from the paperboard, paper, or printing industry.
Excellent problem-solving acumen to analyze (customer) issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
Proficient in English communication. Proficiency in Arabic is a must.
Able to travel extensively (at least 50%).
Technical knowledge in operations management and/or supply chain management.
Good understanding of MEA regional paperboard converter and printer markets.
