ITW Welding Products Group (FZE) is a sister company of ITW and is responsible for the Middle East and Central Asia. We are seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Manager to develop potential markets for Laser Welding. She/He must establish close relationships with key clients & business partners and shall conduct site visits to boost market initiatives. This role requires travel, analytical thinking skills, and deep technical knowledge of welding and laser welding.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with Sales and product management teams to create compelling value propositions and tailored offerings for customers in the region.
  2. Develop and execute the sales strategy for laser welding within the assigned region.
  3. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
  4. Drive revenue growth by expanding the customer base, and penetrating new markets.
  5. Serve as the technical subject matter expert for laser welding equipment.
  6. Conduct product demonstrations and assist customers with product selection, customization, and application support.
  7. Facilitate interactive sessions for product presentations, live demonstrations, and training programs for clients and business partners.
  8. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's offerings and stay current with industry trends.
  9. Regularly report on sales performance, opportunities, and forecasts to the General Manager.
  10. Undertake frequent international travel to engage with our principal clients or channel partners.
  11. Visit our manufacturing facility in the USA and stay in touch with our global teams regularly.

Skills and Experience

  1. Experience in welding and laser welding is a must.
  2. Familiarity with the local market and industries in the Middle East is highly desirable.
  3. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Proficiency in the English language.
