We are looking for a Technical Sales Executive - Flooring Division for one of our reputed clients in UAE.

The Technical Sales Executive for the Flooring Division will play a critical role in driving hands-on, on-the-ground sales efforts across the assigned region, with a focus on revenue generation, activity-based engagement, and customer relationship management. This role demands a strong understanding of the flooring industry, active pursuit of business opportunities, and consistent execution of sales activities aligned with divisional goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the flooring market, targeting contractors, architects, and distributors.
    • Actively engage in on-site visits to understand client needs and recommend suitable flooring solutions.
    • Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
    • Promote company's products to contractors, applicators, and decision-makers, ensuring inclusion in project specifications.
  • Revenue Generation:
    • Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets.
    • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities through consistent customer engagement and follow-ups.
    • Develop tailored sales proposals and close deals in alignment with divisional strategies.
  • Activity-Driven Sales Execution:
    • Plan and execute regular visits to project sites, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and on-site training to showcase company's solutions.
    • Ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and concerns, providing excellent post-sales support.
  • Market Insights and Development:
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
    • Provide regular feedback to the Regional Sales Manager regarding market conditions and customer insights.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and increase product visibility.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to align on objectives and prioritize activities.
    • Provide accurate and timely reports on sales performance, activity metrics, and customer interactions.
    • Utilize CRM software to maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer profiles, and opportunities.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on sales experience in the flooring or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in an activity-driven environment.
  • Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Technical aptitude to understand and explain flooring products and their applications.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on role with minimal supervision.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus, particularly languages spoken in the assigned region.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
  • A diploma or equivalent qualification in construction, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Relevant technical qualifications in construction or flooring will be considered an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications or technical training in flooring, construction, or related products will be considered an advantage.
