Job Description

• Oversee the design and implementation of innovative landscaping projects, ensuring they align with client specifications and sustainability practices.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, optimizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
• Lead a team of landscape architects and technicians, fostering collaboration and ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout all phases of project execution.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies, providing expert recommendations on plant selection, irrigation systems, and hardscape materials.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and select subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts that meet quality standards and budget constraints.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations on-site, promoting a culture of safety and compliance among team members.
• Utilize advanced software for landscape design and project management, streamlining processes and enhancing project presentations.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, showcasing project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating innovative practices into project planning and execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in landscaping project management, showcasing a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Professional certifications such as Landscape Industry Certified Manager or similar credentials are highly preferred.
• Proven experience leading teams, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Familiarity with local horticultural practices and environmental regulations is crucial for compliance and sustainability.
• Technical proficiency in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is required for effective visualization and planning.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages can be an asset when dealing with diverse clients.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions, showcasing problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
