Roles and Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish O&M division/Sub-Division/Business Development
- Develop SOPs/Manuals/roles and responsibilities for the team members (Job profiles)
- Plan, lead and manage operation and maintenance activities at the plant and assigned locations
- Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are met
- Ensure competent resources and competence development within the assigned team
- Ensure that the condition of the plant and equipment is according to applicable guidelines and policies and take corrective actions when necessary
- Ensure that the work is executed at the plant according to the established company standards
- Implement action plans, processes, and guidelines in the assigned responsibilities
- Prepare reports, plans, and budgets as instructed
- Identify and actively seek to improve operational and maintenance reliability and availability
- Develop the operation and maintenance working routines
- Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Liaison with technical partners, ensuring excellent client relations and development
- Provide training to the staff as required according to industry needs
- Contract administration, management, and commercial knowledge
- Knowledge of CMMS (Construction Maintenance Management System) and orientation
Education/Experience
Manage operation and maintenance activities at the Thermal power plant (1x660 MW) and assigned team to ensure contractual quality, safety, financial, cost, and time effectiveness. Ensure operational and maintenance reliability and availability while managing stakeholders effectively (customers, employees, colleagues in other departments, and management).
Experience: 20-25 years with at least 10 years as a Head of Department (HOD) in O&M.
Specialization: Boiler & Turbine Generator (BTG) Package O&M for a minimum of 7 years with supercritical thermal power projects. Recent and minimum 10 years of work experience with Contractor Company Technical commissioning & Maintenance knowledge of boiler, turbine, GD, CHP, AHP.
Education: B.Tech - Mechanical or M.E - Mechanical.
Skillset: O&M software, Primavera or MSP, Good Communication (Verbal & written), knowledge in contracts.

Qualification & Experience:
Mechanical or Electrical Engineer graduate with 15-20 years of relevant experience OR Diploma Holder with 20-25 years of relevant experience.
Working experience in Multi-Engine Wartsila Gas Engine Power Plant O&M is preferred (preferably on 34SG and 50SG).
Certification in UNIC shall be an added advantage to site functioning (Optional).
