The Role
Based 15 Minutes Drive from Abu Dhabi airport. Handling all pre & post contract work related to the Design, Engineering and Technical Aspects of Major Building Projects in the UAE. Group has 45 Years of success in this arena.

Description:

1. Arabic Buildings Main Contractor
2. 45 Years success delivering projects from 200 - 1.2 Billion AED
3. This group has a huge amount of in-house capabilities with Joinery, MEP, Facades, Pre-Cast, Modular & Fit Out to complement the Main Contracting arm of the group.
4. Reporting into the Group Construction Director with a dotted line into the Group Owner.
5. Can you handle 12 live projects at execution stage on site as well as all Design, Technical & Engineering input at pre-construction and bidding stage?
6. You will have a strong local UAE knowledge and awareness of design codes, rules & regulations, developers, consultants, and architects.
7. Your CV will show a clear track record in a relevant Design & Technical capacity on a Major Project of 1 Billion AED + or having managed a department.

Key Skills & Experience that is essential in this post:

1. Ensuring shop drawings are correct and work is delivered to the highest standard.
2. Following up with sub-consultants from the schematic design till the IFC stage.
3. Managing the engineering departments of several large-scale projects within the given time frame.
4. Providing technical solutions to the construction site team.
5. Managing project document control, including drawings, material submittal, and specification control and interpretation.
6. Providing design interpretation, arranging timely collection of necessary information, data, and drawings from the client/consultant.
7. Performing work methods improvement studies.
8. Liaising with Architects/Consultants/Local Authority personnel assigned to the project.
9. Preparation and handing over of completed project facilities with all required closeout documentation.

Requirements

Following needed for successful application:

1. Experience working for a reputable Buildings Main Contractor in the UAE.
2. Currently based in the UAE.
3. Strong communication skills demonstrated from the off with NSR Associates.
4. Clear experience handling self-delivery elements.
5. Can you delve into the technical detail needed?
6. Degree Qualified – 15 years post-graduate.
7. Strong technical awareness and understanding of the clients, rules, regulations, and supply chain in the UAE.
8. Able to start before the 1st of Feb 2025 Latest.
