Technical Engineer, Technical Supplies

Job Description

Sr. Technical Engineer will work and coordinate with the sales team for all technical queries between suppliers, customers, sales and estimation team for bulk trading section.

• Involved with clients/customers to review their technical documents, drawings, specifications, project schedules, and delivery milestones. Coordinate with suppliers/vendors locally and globally to resolve all technical queries.
• Liaison between suppliers and customers and submit vendor documents and technical submittals.
• Negotiate with suppliers on technical aspects of the product and coordinate with the estimation team.
• Coordinate quality inspection and raise RFI; coordinate FAT or factory/warehouse visits as required by customers.
• Expedite with suppliers and vendors for on-time delivery and visit local factories as required.
• Coordinate with logistics to arrange material delivery to customers as per agreed plans.
• Maintain ISO documentation and records of suppliers and manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Affinity and familiarity with engineering procurement aspects in the E&I, Telecom bulk trading.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience level: 5+ years in the Oil & Gas and Power sectors in UAE.
• Should have a valid UAE driving license and preferably own a car.
• QA/HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Skills & Professional Requirements:

• Proven experience in technical sales, in the E&I, Telecom Engineering Solutions related to the O&G sector (Field Instrumentation, Flare Meter, UFM Flowmeters, Valves, Fittings, Telecom).
• Strong market understanding and solid connections with EPC and developers in the O&G and Power Generation sectors in the UAE.
