Job Description

• Create technical drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software and present design plans to manager to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production operations.
• Monitor the projects, schedule the tasks and follow up to guarantee the completion within the time frame.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
• Maintain system and project databases, and write the required technical documentation.
• Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.
• Assess project requirements and determination of equipment and supplies requirements.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers in the team.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Liaise with suppliers and conduct industry research to identify potential suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Measure the performance of machinery components.
• Carry out surveys on equipment and various mechanical systems.
• Complete projects by training and guiding technicians.
• Write reports and technical documents related to projects and maintenance.
• Analyze problems and develop solutions to resolve them.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair services to keep equipment operational, following manufacturer instructions and established procedures.
• Perform other tasks/projects as assigned by the Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Control and Instrumentation.
• Minimum five (5) years of work experience as maintenance engineer or project engineer preferably in a manufacturing company.
• Communication skills in English and Arabic language.
• Ability to lead, direct and plan efficient utilization of personnel.
• Energetic, Attentive, and Cooperative.
• Understand blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical parts breakdown.
