TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEER

Job Description:

1. Study project contract documents (schedule, project design drawings, BOQ).
2. Maintain and update shop drawing log before consultant’s approval submission.
3. Prepare requests for information (RFIs) to address any technical issues during construction.
4. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and prepare MTS and PQD as per the Subcontractor List.
5. Review subcontractors' shop drawings and coordinate approval with the project consultant.
6. Troubleshoot unexpected technical challenges during construction and report to the Technical Manager.
7. Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions.
8. Create detailed construction item drawings.
9. Develop as-built drawings at project completion for project consultant submission.
10. Coordinate structural and architectural drawings across different disciplines (MEP drawings).

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering.
2. Contractor's background is essential.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in Architecture Shop drawings.
4. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
5. Strong understanding of shop drawings and document coordination.
6. Knowledge of construction terminology and techniques.
7. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
8. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
