Technical Architect

Overview

As a Technical Architect at Inception, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the overarching architecture strategy for our AI-driven initiatives. You will work across teams to align business objectives with technology strategies, drive technical-wide architectural decisions, and ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring the successful delivery of transformative AI solutions.

The opportunity

Inception is the UAE’s national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS, we offer domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platform utilizing reasoning agents for precise and cost-effective services. Our focus includes AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products. By creating models tailored to specific domains and languages, we ensure superior accuracy and efficiency. Collaborating with top universities and industry giants to drive significant advancements in AI technology within the region.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

1. Platform Design: Define and support infrastructure teams in setting up a scalable, cost-effective Cloud or On-Prem for Data & ML platforms.

2. Observability & Optimization: Implement monitoring, logging, and optimization strategies for cloud and data platforms using observability tools.

3. CI/CD for Data & ML: Define CI/CD pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and AI model deployment.

4. Data & Storage Strategy: Design data flow, ontology, schemas, storage strategies, and component-level design for structured, unstructured, and ML output data.

5. Security & Governance: Ensure role-based access control (RBAC), data security, and compliance are enforced in all data engineering and AI workflows.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with data engineers, ML engineers, and DevOps teams to build scalable data and ML platforms.

7. Technical Leadership: Conduct feasibility analysis, define component-level design, and provide technical guidance for scalable Data & AI platforms.

Required Tech Stack

· Programming and Development: Proficiency in languages like Python, PySpark, with a focus on technical-level solutions.

· Cloud & Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Microsoft Purview.

· Data Management: Structured & unstructured data pipelines, Delta Lake, SQL, NoSQL, Azure Data Factory.

· ML & AI Workloads: Model inferencing pipelines, MLOps, Data versioning, integration with AI/ML models.

· Microservices and Integration: Expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and service mesh technologies.

· Security and Compliance: In-depth understanding of technical security standards and compliance requirements.

· DevOps and Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

• Hands-on experience designing and optimizing Azure cloud architectures for data and AI workloads.
• Strong knowledge of data flow, ETL pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, and DevOps teams to drive cross-functional projects.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for cloud and big data pipelines.
• Passion for automation, scalability, and performance optimization.

To qualify for the role you must have

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Extensive experience in technical architecture and hands-on expertise with Azure/On-prem services

· Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale, Data & AI-driven products & solutions.

· Deep understanding of architectural principles, system design, and technology strategy.

· Strong background in CI/CD for data engineering and MLOps.
