Technical Account Manager - OTC Pricing Data

In Data, we are responsible for delivering this data, news and analytics through innovative technology - quickly and accurately. We apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies, and we implement technology solutions to enhance our systems, products and processes.

The Content Acquisition (CA) team is an integral part of the Data department. We are responsible for managing, acquiring, and integrating content and data from exchanges, brokers, sell-side, buy-side, and other types of providers to drive the value of the Bloomberg Terminal and downstream enterprise products. We lead the governance, cost, and quality of data we acquire, and we collaborate with the wider company to develop our data acquisition strategies and ensure we are aligning with the agendas of our key partners.

The Role

Within CA, our Client Service team is responsible for acquiring and managing content which is then made available to our client base. For clients who use Bloomberg daily, having access to this content in one place makes their workflow more efficient and helps them make more informed decisions. For the content providers, being able to deliver their content to a place where their clients actively operate, ensures greater market presence, and returns on their distribution efforts.

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our team as a Technical Account Manager, based in the Dubai office. Your role will be vital in supporting new and existing content partners; you will be handling incoming queries and technical issues, as well as proactively working with our partners to ensure their OTC pricing content is delivered in an accurate, timely, and effective manner. To do this, you will build strong and lasting relationships with these institutions, have a deep understanding of the technology they use, their goals and challenges and offer outstanding support to them. You will work closely with Relationship Managers and other business areas to drive company strategy around contributed content and ensure your accounts are aligned with it. Success in this role will require a strong mix of technical expertise, relationship management skills, and problem-solving abilities.

We will trust you to:

  • Support our content partners so that they trust us with their valuable content.
  • Establish, maintain and improve relationships with Content Partners to develop and implement technologies/workflows and facilitate efficient onboarding of new data sets.
  • Optimize data ingestion workflows and troubleshoot integration issues by understanding the data infrastructure internally and externally to help our content providers refine and improve data quality, and optimize content dissemination.
  • Develop expertise in OTC pricing data, using business intelligence tools to spot trends, identify gaps and propose data acquisition and data improvement strategies.

You will need to have:

  • 2+ years of experience in the financial industry, technical account management, market data operations, project management, or data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of market data workflows and ability to support clients in maintaining and improving infrastructure related to content dissemination.
  • Technical and business relationship management experience, with confidence in engaging with strategic partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues logically.
  • Experience working with data feeds or in a market data environment is a plus.
  • Keen interest in financial markets and OTC instruments.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using business intelligence tools or data analytics to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Proven project management abilities, including prioritization and multitasking across multiple client engagements.
  • Ability to adapt within a fast-paced and multifaceted environment, and desire to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive and passion for continuous improvement, with a mindset focused on refining processes, enhancing automation, and scaling infrastructure.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic, French, or another regional language is a plus.
