Team Leader – KYC Remediation
Job description
- Recruit and manage a team of KYC officers for the completion of the remediation of ETB accounts under BBG.
- Train staff and set up robust procedures as per policy to facilitate updating client KYCs.
- Liaise with all stakeholders w.r.t remediation – RM / AM community, R&C, SAT, compliance, and Operation units.
- Review reports daily with KYC staff to ensure procedures and policies are met and that performance is constantly monitored.
- Constantly improve the client experience by minimizing file returns between R&C and business units.
- Monitor all reports published for correctness and integrity.
- Execute consequence management on staff who do not adhere to policy.
- Manage the workflow and timely submissions to R&C Team through the KYC officers.
Key Skills
- Support the business community to update accounts from a KYC perspective by the KYC officers.
- Support management in assisting with projects / deliverables to meet deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvements in terms of errors and returns.
Reporting
- Ensure Management Information (MI) related to KYC is updated on a periodic basis.
