Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the hire desk team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective hire desk processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Monitor team performance against sales targets and KPIs, providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational alignment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all hire desk activities, including bookings, inventory management, and customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience managing a team.
  • Strong experience in using Excel - pivot table / VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP.
  • Experience in creating various reports and providing analysis to management.
  • Ability to think quickly and handle stress in various situations/challenges.
  • Able to develop multiple initiatives to help optimize operations.
  • Flexible and willing to work outside regular working hours when needed.
  • Willing to work in a predominantly male environment.
  • Willing to deal with drivers/technicians.
