Job description
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the hire desk team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
Develop and implement effective hire desk processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
Monitor team performance against sales targets and KPIs, providing regular feedback and coaching.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational alignment.
Maintain accurate records of all hire desk activities, including bookings, inventory management, and customer interactions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
At least 2 years of supervisory experience managing a team.
Strong experience in using Excel - pivot table / VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP.
Experience in creating various reports and providing analysis to management.
Ability to think quickly and handle stress in various situations/challenges.
Able to develop multiple initiatives to help optimize operations.
Flexible and willing to work outside regular working hours when needed.
Willing to work in a predominantly male environment.
Willing to deal with drivers/technicians.
