Tax Manager

• Provide expert advice to clients on UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and ESR regulations.
• Assist clients with the preparation and submission of VAT, CT, and ESR returns, including reconsiderations and clarification requests.
• Review and analyze clients' accounting systems and contracts to advise on tax implications and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist clients during audits and litigation matters, offering guidance and support.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, staying updated on changes in local tax laws.

Tax Planning and Efficiency:

• Maximize efficiencies in tax compliance and reporting systems to reduce tax liabilities while adhering to international and local legislative frameworks.
• Develop and implement processes, flowcharts, and standard templates to streamline tax service delivery.
• Review the updates from the tax authority to stay updated and contribute to tax team's training.

Project and Resource Management:

• Collaborate with the HOD to project and manage timelines and resources for tax mandates.
• Lead the management of client leads, including pricing strategies and cross-selling of services within the group.
• Assist the HOD in mentoring, training, hiring, and supervising team members.

Business Development and Networking:

• Proactively manage a portfolio of clients, nurturing and expanding existing relationships while developing new ones.
• Spearhead the firm's business network expansion for tax-related services and cross-selling opportunities across the firm.
• Represent the company at key conferences and events to promote the tax practice and the firm.

Publication Contributions:

Contribute to the firm's publications, including articles, factsheets, and podcasts.

Experience & Qualifications

• Professionally qualified with ideally either ACA, ACCA, CTA or holding an equivalent qualification.
• Technical expertise and practical experience in corporate taxation and international tax.
