Job Description

  • The Talent Manager will foster a learning culture across group employees, providing them with impactful learning opportunities to build skills and capabilities to support their growth and development in line with business priorities.
  • The incumbent will work closely with business leaders/HRBPs to define gaps in functional and leadership capabilities and will provide appropriate talent development solutions by developing the annual training catalog/portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and execute a strategic roadmap for leadership development that encompasses emerging leaders, middle managers, and executive pipelines.
  • Lead the design of programs that cater to the unique needs of various demographics, including senior executives, early-career professionals, and diverse talent groups (e.g., by gender, cultural background, or functional expertise).
  • Development Needs – understand, assess, and report market learning and capability needs and priorities based on business needs. Develop assessment centers to evaluate employee capability proficiency to support in identifying needs & development plans.
  • Design pathways for career growth that enable employees to navigate transitions, whether stepping into new roles, developing cross-functional skills, or preparing for leadership.
  • Learning Solutions – Define the training calendar based on needs assessment (leadership, functional & mandatory).
  • Business Partnership – Identify trainees in partnership with business leaders/ line managers / People Partners based on development plans and relevance.
  • Training Logistics – Manage training invitations, relevant training material distributed / prework, attendance, technology & facility preparedness, and evaluation.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously enhance talent development initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Group/Business unit's strategic priorities.
  • Learner Pathways – Develop personalized learning paths based on individual employee objectives, development plans, and aspirations to recommend tailored learning modules. Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of learning solutions through post-training assessments, line manager feedback, and practical workplace learning applications. Provide self-paced learning opportunities by providing employees with direct access to learning resources.
  • Coaching & Mentoring- Develop people managers skills in providing real-time performance feedback & leveraging effective coaching / mentoring techniques.
  • Budget – manage the Talent & Learning Program Budgets.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant Talent & Learning and Development roles.
  • Strong Content Design, Communication, and Facilitation Skills.
  • Resourceful and service-oriented, can work under pressure, and be able to be discreet when dealing with information. Must also be self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented with strong accountability for deliverables.
  • Proficient in creating visually and verbally engaging materials, reports, presentations, and proposals for departmental heads and management teams.
