Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Lead with expertise in hiring for retail-specific roles such as Buying, Planning, and E-commerce. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills, a strategic mindset, and a hands-on approach to sourcing and onboarding top talent. This role will play a key part in shaping the talent strategy for Home Centre's evolving retail landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  1. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent for retail-specific positions, including Buying, Planning, and E-commerce roles.
  2. Leverage market insights to refine hiring processes and ensure alignment with Home Centre's growth goals.

End-to-End Recruitment:

  1. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
  2. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and partnerships with external agencies.

Campus Hiring:

  1. Establish relationships with colleges.
  2. Plan and conduct campus recruitment across various roles throughout the year.

Stakeholder Management:

  1. Partner with department heads, hiring managers, and senior leadership to understand talent needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
  2. Provide regular updates and analytics on hiring progress, market trends, and challenges.

Employer Branding:

  1. Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance Home Centre's employer brand, showcasing our iLEAD values and employee-centric initiatives.
  2. Represent Home Centre at industry events, job fairs, and networking forums to attract top talent.

Process Optimization:

  1. Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to ensure efficiency, diversity, and candidate experience.
  2. Implement technology-driven solutions, including ATS enhancements, to streamline hiring operations.

Compliance and Reporting:

  1. Ensure all recruitment activities comply with regional labor laws and company policies.
  2. Prepare and present reports on recruitment metrics, cost per hire, and time to fill.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Experience:

  1. 8+ years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on retail-specific roles such as Buying, Planning, and E-commerce.
  2. Proven track record of hiring mid to senior-level positions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Skills:

  1. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  2. Excellent sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, and headhunting.
  3. Data-driven approach to recruitment, with proficiency in ATS and HR analytics tools.
  4. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
