Job description

The Talent Acquisition Executive is responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent for various positions within the hospitality industry. This role involves working closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, creating job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring a smooth recruitment process. The Talent Acquisition Executive plays a key role in maintaining a high standard of employee quality and supporting the company's growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment and Sourcing:
    1. Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs for different roles (e.g., front desk, kitchen staff, housekeeping, management).
    2. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and employee referrals.
    3. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future staffing needs.
  2. Interviewing and Screening:
    1. Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews with candidates to assess their skills, experience, and cultural fit for the organization.
    2. Administer assessments and tests as required to evaluate candidates' suitability for specific roles.
    3. Provide feedback to hiring managers and collaborate on interview decisions.
  3. Onboarding:
    1. Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
    2. Facilitate the orientation process and ensure new employees are introduced to the company's culture, policies, and procedures.
  4. Employer Branding:
    1. Promote the company's employer brand through job fairs, networking events, and online presence.
    2. Ensure the company is represented as an employer of choice in the hospitality industry.
  5. Database Management:
    1. Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate database.
    2. Track and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and sources of hire.
  6. Compliance:
    1. Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies during the recruitment and hiring process.
    2. Assist in maintaining diversity and inclusion goals within the recruitment process.
    3. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and hospitality staffing.
    4. Proactively suggest improvements to recruitment processes and strategies to attract top talent.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within the hospitality industry.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and talent sourcing tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite, and job boards.
  • Understanding of labor laws and recruitment best practices.
