Tagalog Speaking Accountant for a Large Engineering Company

This position is essential to support the financial operations of the firm, particularly in liaising with clients and stakeholders who primarily communicate in Tagalog. The Accountant will be accountable for a variety of financial tasks, including managing accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports
• Conduct audits of financial documents and processes
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
• Liaise with clients and partners to address financial inquiries
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Fluency in Tagalog and English, both spoken and written
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with accounting software, Tally
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
