Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Primarily responsible for managing both on-premises and cloud-based servers, including Microsoft and VMware environments. This includes tasks such as provisioning, deployment, backup, patching, and upgrading.
2. Proficiency in Commvault backup is required, including managing tape and disk storage.
3. Experience in administering and managing SAN and NAS storage systems is necessary.
4. Responsible for overseeing the Office 365 ecosystem, including tasks related to Microsoft Licensing, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and more.
5. Manage and administer Azure workloads.
6. Handle the administration of Active Directory and Azure Entra, including user account creation/deletion, domain controller deployment/decommissioning, ensuring connectivity between on-premises domain controllers and Azure Entra across parent and child domains, group policies, server updates, and patching.
7. Provide administrative support for various server roles such as DNS, DHCP, SharePoint, file servers, and SFTP.
8. Manage and deploy Intune MDM and MAM policies.
9. Provide Level 2/3 IT support, serving as an escalation point for the user support team.
10. Oversee the installation and configuration of servers and server applications.
11. Collaborate with vendors to identify, implement, and procure technologies that enhance IT services.
12. Ensure that documentation for systems and processes is created, updated, and maintained.
13. Reports directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
