System Support Engineer

Key Accountabilities:

• Deploy and manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage Windows Servers, Exchange servers, SQL servers, and workloads in a hybrid environment. Manage storage and file services.
• Manage and optimize virtual machines and containers.
• Implement and manage an on-premises and hybrid networking infrastructure.
• Secure Windows Server on-premises and hybrid infrastructures.
• Implement and manage Windows Server high availability.
• Implement disaster recovery.
• Migrate servers and workloads.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
• Integrate Windows Server environments with Azure services.
• Manage Windows Server in on-premises networks.
• Assist in installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Maintain system and infrastructure availability, stability, integrity, and efficient operation.
• Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize networked software and associated operating systems.
• Provide operational support for server, storage, or network infrastructures.
• Contribute to planning and implementing infrastructure changes to enhance performance.
• Assist in software and operating system upgrades and track system licensing.
• Configure security settings and access permissions.
• Configure and maintain office and production software.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers and administrators.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in a system support role.
• Professional certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, ITIL, VMware, CCNA/CCIE, Juniper Networks Certified (JNCIS-SEC), CompTIA A+, CISSP, CAPM.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong experience with storage architecture and administration.
• Analytical skills and report preparation abilities.
