Planning and built supervision of compressor package subsystems (conventional design)
Participation in kick-off meetings, design reviews, coordination meetings, HAZOPs, FAT, and other necessary meetings and events within the framework of the project
Independent work in a project team under the lead of an experienced system engineer
Responsible for the design of subsystems, specifying, ordering, and inspection of system components
Technical management of external engineering providers for subsystems, component suppliers, packaging partners, and evaluation of their engineering, build, and testing documentation
Technical support of internal departments along the interfaces (quality department, sales, purchasing, project management, dynamic simulation, sales support, commissioning, etc.) for subsystems
Create engineering documentation for system layout, control systems, basic system specifications, work instructions, etc.
Technical advice to internal employees and customers, as well as external engineering providers and suppliers
Technical support during the commissioning phase to the commissioning team
You can help us with these qualifications:
Training in mechanical engineering and/or similar, Master Degree in Engineering (University Level)
Good knowledge in the field of mechanical/plant engineering (>7 years of professional experience in the Oil & Gas process engineering business)
Knowledge in compressor system automation and relevant process understanding (PID, functional description, cause and effect diagrams)
Knowledge of common EN and US standards in the field of plant planning and explosion protection desired
Knowledge of the common Saudi Aramco Package specifications, Shell DEP specifications, as well as ADNOC specifications
Experience in the area of pressure vessel directive PED, explosion protection (ATEX, IECEx)
Experience with several technical aspects of package engineering such as Dry Gas Seal systems, Lub. Oil systems, Package Design, Basic engineering of process, Instrument selection, Safety philosophies, etc.
