System Analyst

Job Description:

The Systems Analyst will play a critical role in the transformation program by analyzing and documenting the interactions between business processes and corporate systems. This role ensures that system integrations and functionalities align with the client's strategic goals, identifying optimization opportunities and supporting the development of a scalable operational framework.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze how corporate systems and applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS) interact with business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
2. Map data flows and system dependencies across business workflows, documenting integration points and interactions.
3. Collaborate with process analysts to align system functionality with process mapping activities.
4. Evaluate system performance and usage during workflows, identifying bottlenecks or gaps.
5. Gather and document business and technical requirements for system optimizations or integrations.
6. Provide recommendations to enhance system efficiency, usability, and alignment with organizational objectives.
7. Support the development of technical documentation, including system interaction diagrams, integration blueprints, and data flow charts.
8. Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and actionable analysis.
9. Participate in workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather insights and validate findings.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) and system integration techniques (e.g., APIs, middleware, ETL).
4. Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart).
5. Solid understanding of data flows, dependencies, and database structures.
6. Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process and system optimization.
7. Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

1. Experience in the energy or offshore marine services industry.
2. Exposure to knowledge management systems or workflow automation projects.
