About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of swimming pools and provide general gardening services. The ideal candidate will ensure pools are safe, clean, and operational, while also creating and maintaining an aesthetically pleasing garden environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular cleaning of swimming pools, including skimming debris, scrubbing pool walls and floors, and vacuuming.
2. Inspect and maintain pool filters, pumps, and chlorinators to ensure proper operation.
3. Test water pH and chlorine levels, adjusting chemical levels as necessary to maintain water quality and safety.
4. Empty and clean pool skimmer baskets and traps regularly.
5. Diagnose and repair minor pool equipment issues (pumps, motors, valves, etc.).
6. Conduct routine inspections of pool plumbing and electrical systems.
7. Ensure the safe operation of all pool-related equipment, conducting troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
8. Assist in pool heater and lighting installations and repairs when required.
9. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, HVAC systems, electrical panels, and plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning.
10. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in various systems and equipment, and perform the necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
11. Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns.
12. Mow, edge, and trim grass and hedges to maintain a neat appearance.
13. Fertilize and water plants, ensuring their health and growth.
14. Identify and address pests, diseases, or other issues affecting plant life.
15. Maintain garden tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
16. Design and implement small landscaping projects as needed.
17. Collect and dispose of garden waste responsibly.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 2-3 years of experience in pool maintenance or a related field.
3. Technical knowledge of pool systems, including filters, pumps, and chemical treatment.
4. Basic plumbing, painting, and electrical skills.
5. Familiarity with health and safety standards related to pool maintenance.
6. Ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment.
7. Good physical stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor environments.
8. Good communication and customer service skills.
